The Real Black Friday

The name "Black Friday" is usually the name that is reserved for the day after Thanksgiving. It is the day that merchants will gauge what the rest of the Christmas holiday shopping season will be like. It is the day that shoppers can find some deep discounts on merchandise if they are willing to stand in the long lines of people for their chance of getting a high ticket item for a bargain.

Yet today I found the following article which to me describes the real "Black Friday".

"Planned Parenthood of Indiana is celebrating the most important crisis pregnancy of all time by selling gift certificates, perfect for the woman who has everything but moral fiber:

Gift certificates have become a popular holiday gift option, but a controversial new one, already has people talking.

For the first time, Planned Parenthood in Indiana is offering gift certificates. The organization said a big increase in calls and visits from newly unemployed and uninsured Hoosiers prompted what it calls the unusual, yet practical gift option.

“People are making really tough decisions about putting gas in their car and food on their table, so we know that many women especially put healthcare at the bottom of their list to do,” said Chrystal Struben-Hall, Vice President of Planned Parenthood of Indiana.

And it’s so much easier than finding the perfect “Baby’s First Christmas” ornament."

It is so sad to see what our country is becoming. Never have I seen such ignorance and such disregard for precious innocent lives.

Christmas is the season for celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, who was given to us as a gift and to offer an instrument that that enables the taking away of life as a gift is disgusting and heartbreaking!This nation is headed in the wrong direction and we must pray ever harder that God will change the hearts of stone that enable this dastardly deed.
